March for Life impacts January 26, 2015 kyle conway
Every year, the respect life club and thousands of others gather at D.C to protest against the roe vs. wade case that made abortion constitutioinally legal in the United States back in the 1970's. So how is this affecting congress?
Congress has recently shown both pro and anti perspectives on abortion. A day ago, the republicans dropped a bill that seemed promising to pass that would make abortion past 20 weeks illegal. Their reason? They felt it would make them loose female supporters. Although this bill was dropped in the senate, the house recently voted on a bill that would not allow the use of federal money to fund abortions. Although this bill was passed before and dies in the senate, it proves pretty promising this time around. President Obama still seems pretty prominent on his stance for pro abortion. So, although we won't see abortion being outlawed tomorrow, there is a slow but steady improvement in the pro life case.
